Emily – One of the E Litter
Emily is one of a litter of seven beautiful puppies who were brought to the sanctuary by their owner at around eight weeks old.
Sadly, this is often the age when a mother dog stops feeding her puppies and the owner suddenly has the expense of buying food for the whole litter. Thankfully, Emily and her siblings were taken somewhere safe and have never experienced the trauma or distress of being abandoned.
Emily is a sweet, affectionate and playful little girl who enjoys attention, cuddles and spending time with her brothers and sisters. She is a happy, well-socialised puppy who is now ready to begin the next chapter of her life with a loving family.
Message from one of Emily’s carers
Emily 1st Outing: What a great pup. 😊 The best ever in the car. 👏 A few minutes to settle in and she was good to go. She seemed to enjoy it and was so relaxed that she even napped on the 3 legs of her journey. Went to Ferragudo to check out beach and do cat test then to my home. She was so good for her first time out. She whimpered at times but was mostly calm and curious. Not timid or aggressive with dogs; great with people including children and loved all the attention she got; typical reaction to cats – looking curiously at this strange creature and backing away. 🙀 She was relaxed at my home but didn’t want to hang out on my big yellow chair. 😝 At least she had fun playing with the hippo toy.
Like all puppies, Emily will need patience, consistency and continued training as she learns about life in a home. In return, she will bring plenty of fun, love and puppy mischief.
