Emma - Reserved

Summary

Emma was rescued from an area notorious for gypsies and was surrendered in a poor state of health, covered in ticks and fleas with four young puppies (Joy, Maya, Louis, Peanut and Mokka).

She was thoroughly checked by a vet and had full blood tests and thankfully tested negative for Tick bite fever, Heart worms and Leishmaniasis.

With good food and tender care and lots of cuddles, she was able to bring up her puppies in the safety of a private shelter run by our partners in the Algarve.

Emma is a really sweet dog and is very people orientated and loves cuddles. She’s also very friendly with all the other dogs and having been living with Gypsies is also good with cats.

She most resembles a Spaniel and like the Brittany Spaniel she has a short tail.
