Honey - Adopt me!

Honey's story is quite tragic...

Honey was taken to our teams shelter in Portugal after being found tightly tied up. The cord was tied so tightly around her neck that the cord actually embedded into her neck. Thankfully, she was rescued in the nick of time and are very pleased to say that her neck wounds have been fully treated and she has made a full recovery and most remarkably she likes to have a lead put on to go on a walk.

You would never know that she had been through such trauma, as she is SUCH a friendly, affectionate, trusting and playful girl. She shows absolutely no signs of trauma or fear, and is a very approachable, sociable and confident girl. She gets on brilliantly with all of the other dogs in the shelter, and she laps up all of the attention, and is a truly beautiful girl, both inside and out. She travels well in the car, takes food very gently and loves cuddles, play with toys and chase a ball.

We are ideally looking for a home with another dog and someone who has experience of sight/scent hounds and dogs with high prey drive.

She most resembles a Podengo and has a high prey drive, but for 99% of the time is a cuddle monster!

She is currently in foster in Fleet.

Honey is fully vaccinated, has been treated for fleas, ticks and worms.
