Bobby - Adopt Me!

Bobby came to this country at 4 months old and was shy when he arrived with his siblings. In lockdown, he has become very attached to his family and now suffers from attachment issues and is reactive with strangers or other dogs when on a lead by himself. He is also territorial and doesn't like strangers in his home, due to his insecurities and fears. However, when he walks with other confident dogs he knows he is completely different and doesn't show the signs of reactively like he does when he is on his own.

He is a mixed breed but we think he may some Russian Harlequin Hound in him.

He has just been castrated and we are now looking for a home with another dog/s, that are confident and playful, so he can relax and feel at ease.

  • Other dogs in the home, could be more than one
  • No young children - but could be a home with teenagers
  • Experience dog owner

He is fully vaccinated and treated for fleas, ticks and worms and comes with his own passport.

Size: 12-15kg when fully grown

Date of Birth: 03/07/2020

Neutered: Yes

Cat tested:  Not a home with cats as he has sight hound tendencies

FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN UNDER 10  - The shelters in Portugal are also in lockdown and this prevents people visiting the shelter. Until children are able to meet the puppies and our fosterers assess their reactions, we will not be adopting to families with children under the age of 10 until things return to normal.

As we have so many applying if you do not fulfil the above criteria we will not respond to your application.
